Lauan plywood is a lightweight interior plywood type made by compressing several hardwood layers of different species.

General Characteristics:

The bending Meranti or Poplar panels are a strong underlayment substrate constructed of three flexible plies. These panels will bend parallel to the grain to a shape as small as 18″ in diameter. They are an ideal bending substrate for veneer and laminate when the project includes contours.

General Characteristics:

Similar in color to a domestic Southern Yellow Pine with a more closed grain. Used in the construction of things like flooring or structures. Known as a structural or platform grade

General Characteristics:

Aspen face veneer that meets or exceeds the requirements of B grade veneer listed in the U.S. Product Standard PS 1-09. The face has no open knotholes. Knots do not exceed 1” across the grain and are tight and sound. Repairs may be wood or synthetic material and must be neatly made. Synthetic repairs are made to splits. 100 grit final sand with a maximum of 5% sander skip allowed.

C grade veneers used for core, centers and back.
